They are perfect for edentulous patients seeking a fixed solution. Fixed hybrids have commonly utilized a milled titanium bar, over layered with acrylic and denture teeth. Unfortunately, these restorations are not without their limitations. Often, these patients have tremendous parafunctional habits that routinely result in chipped or broken teeth. It is not uncommon for the entire restoration to be completely re-acrylized in a relatively short amount of time.
